HUMANTAY LAKE FULL DAY TOUR – TREK & BUFFET LUNCH
The Humantay Lake Full Day Tour takes you on an unforgettable high-mountain trek to one of the most mesmerizing glacial lagoons in the Peruvian Andes.
Located at 4,200 meters (13,779 feet) at the foot of the sacred Mount Humantay (5,473 m) and majestic Mount Salkantay (6,271 m), this crystal-clear emerald-turquoise body of water is revered by Andean shamans as a sacred sanctuary of Pachamama (Mother Earth).
Your adventure begins with early morning transport across the Anta plains to Mollepata for a hearty breakfast. Arriving at the Soraypampa trailhead, you embark on a 1.5 to 2-hour ascent surrounded by towering glacial cirques. At the summit, take in the surreal turquoise colors, participate in a traditional coca leaf ceremony, take breathtaking photos, and return to Mollepata for a rewarding buffet lunch before heading back to Cusco.
