General Terms and Conditions of Service
By booking any of our services, tours, or expeditions with Machupicchu Travel Narcy, the client expressly accepts the following terms and conditions established to guarantee a safe, transparent, and satisfying journey.
1. Bookings and Service Confirmation
- All reservations are confirmed once the agreed initial deposit or full payment has been received.
- For tours that include train tickets, entrances to the Llaqta of Machu Picchu, Huayna Picchu, or the Inca Trail, submitting a valid passport or official ID for each passenger is mandatory. In accordance with government regulations, these tickets are strictly personal and non-transferable.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies
- Classic 1-Day Tours (Sacred Valley, Humantay Lake, Rainbow Mountain, South Valley): Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance incur no penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
- Machu Picchu Tours and Treks (Salkantay, Manu): Machu Picchu entrance tickets and train tickets issued are non-refundable and non-transferable pursuant to Ministry of Culture and PerúRail / IncaRail regulations. Remaining operational service balances may be rescheduled subject to availability.
3. Health, Travel Insurance, and High-Altitude Acclimatization
- We strongly advise all travelers to hold comprehensive travel insurance and complete a minimum acclimatization period of 1 to 2 days in Cusco before undertaking hikes above 4,000 meters (13,100 ft).
- Travelers must inform our team in advance of any pre-existing medical conditions (cardiac conditions, asthma, severe allergies).
